Hotel Bargains has its imitators. Most of them are selling third party vouchers which require you to present them at the hotel. Often Hotels aren’t aware of the vouchers, or don’t want to honor them because of demand. Other companies ask you to post a request form and wait 14 days to find out if you can have the desired accommodation…we know that is not a good deal. This promotion is exclusively to advertise the services and packages available via Hotel Bargains and our affiliate sites. The offers are not available directly with hotels, much the same way as packages and tours put together by travel companies are not available directly with the providers. While many hotels are aware of the branding Hotel Bargains, they do not deal with the redemption of our vouchers, as these are designed to be used at our website and with our customer service line. We have a list of example hotels available on the site for your reference, and naturally once a customer you will have access to all the available hotels so you can browse offers and make bookings.

We source our offers from partners who negotiate deals with hotels and accommodation providers to ensure that there is a minimum savings of 20% off rates you would find with other sites and booking agencies. In some cases, the savings are more than 60%.You will save either in dollar terms or with inclusions such as meals or additional nights free.
Are there blackouts periods for booking on the offers?
Some hotels specify periods that they will accept certain offers. However, the majority of hotels are happy to take your booking any time of the year, provided they have availability. Itís always wise to book ahead for peak periods.
How can the accommodation be free when I purchase meals?
The separate purchase of meals is an expense that normally comes with vacations. Often it can be very costly. With our Meal packages, you can save by spending that or a similar amount of money in the hotel and in effect receive free accommodation! Some hotels alternatively offer breakfast and dinner inclusive of the booking price. In either case, you have saved significantly.
Wonít the prices be increased to cover the cost of the meals or extra nights?
Each hotel has their own policy, but ours is there must be a real savings to our customers. You are free to search offers for the deals you think represent the best value. Generally the savings is off the rate you would pay for the same room at the same time of year, but with the specials included.
Do we have to stay a minimum number of nights?
Each Hotel sets a minimum stay period for their offers. Stays range from 1 night minimums to 7 nights for bigger discounts. There are thousands of offers, so chances are you will find one that matches your holiday or travel window.
Why do we need to purchase vouchers to book these deals?
Think of the vouchers as a ticket to a premier event. As these are specially negotiated deals, we need to reserve them for our special guests – you.

Is it hard to get availability?
We have over 400 Hotels and more than 2,500 room nights available every day of the year. (with number increasing each month) And while there will be peak demand periods where everyone wants to go to the same place (the Gold Coast at Easter for Example) which can restrict availability, if you plan well ahead and are flexible, you will find a deal to suit most times.
How do I purchase a Hotel Bargaiins voucher package?
You can purchase a package by calling us on 1300 850 660 during business hours, or online at the accommodation packages page at this site. Your package will be sent out to you the next business day and should arrive within 5-7 business days.
How long before I receive my package?
Under the new consumer law 2011 if you have purchased a package off one of our telesales agents, you will receive your package in 10 business days from the day you receive your agreement due to a mandatory 10 day cooling off period. We cannot supply the goods in this period due to the new law. However once the period is over we will post the package and you will receive it within 4-5 days.
If you have purchased a package online, the package will be delivered by post usually within 5-7 working days.
